We look for local initiatives and projects that local people have started to meet specific local needs that they see. These can be schools, clinics, farms, ecological initiatives, community centres or whatever, but the condition is that they are local, sustainable projects whose aim it is to make a difference to the lives of the people around them and to the environment in which they live.
These projects we try to support by making people aware of them, by organising, for example, a workcamp to take place there to do some important job, or by putting you in touch with people who might take an interest in spending some time there doing something useful.
We do not help with direct funding, because we do not have access to that sort of funding, and because that is not our aim. But through connecting with people who understand and appreciate your work, many developments are possible which would otherwise remain a dream.
We can help you in your planning processes, put you in touch with architects or other experts in different fields, and try to find the practical assistance you need in realising your next step in development.
