Schools Tour in Germany and Switzerland to start once again, with several people who are able, on invitation, to hold presentations on the Idem ideas and activities.

Open Meetings, where you can share your own questions in an interactive group, and Regional Meetings where the focus is on the Idem work itself.

We are available for Consultation for projects in development and particularly for young people who want to start and manage an initiative of their own. Simply send an e-mail to Basel(at)idem-network.org with your questions.

We organize workshops and conferences for those who are already involved in some way in social initiatives. If you have ever worked in an NGO or development project, you will know how many problems confront you every day and how you’re always having to do things you’ve never learned or done before. People can get together to share their experiences and ideas. Or invite experts in their field to address subjects like fund raising and financial management, dealing with government and so on.

There are also thousands of teachers, farmers, workers in health care and other projects, who are effectively doing Social Work in their own way, without any background in this profession, but whose help is both needed and useful. But they realize only too well that the limited amount they are able to do only touches the surface of the issues they are dealing with. In order to get to the root of things, they need to address issues where they originate, in the families, in the justice system and police protection, in church and civic communities.

We hope to offer meeting places and workshops for those of you in this situation, where you can find some new ideas and support from others
